YOU can help spread the joy of friendship to young people with disabilities!
Marcus and Tommy’s Story
Meet Marcus and Tommy.
Tommy (a first time mentor) and Marcus met at Summer Serve Camp this past August. Even though they had never met before, they really hit it off–they laughed, worked, worshipped and made friends with others.
Marcus’ mom, Jeanette, would tell you that not too long ago, Marcus had emotionally, physically and mentally shut down. Jeanette said, “he lost his ability to eat, to bathe, to do anything. We spoon fed him and bathed him for over 9 months as he slowly returned back to us.” It was a very dark and lonely place for Marcus. But she would also tell you this: “Compassionate Heart has played a huge part in his success. He feels he belongs. He feels accepted and has friends!”
God created us for community. Without you, the young people who come to Compassionate Heart Ministry would be sitting home by themselves and feeling lonely.
When you donate to Compassionate Heart Ministry you make stories like Marcus’ possible! Your gift of $25, $50, $100 or more will help spread the joy of friendship to other young people with disabilities.
Because of what God does through your gift, more young people with disabilities will experience the joy of having friends and loving Jesus!
