Shuttle Driving

Transport participants after school to CHM and/or drive the group for special field trips or outings! We could always use more shuttle drivers to join the call list! We shuttle participants on Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday afternoons. You choose how often & which day(s)! (Must be 22 years old and have a valid Driver’s License, Chauffeur’s License- even better!)

I love volunteering at CHM because it brings so much joy and happiness into my life. It is a place where you make new friends and grow closer with old ones. It is a place where everyone can come hang out and be themselves. From dance parties to the Hearts in Action day camp, you see everyone around you having so much fun! One participant who I always have fun with and who always puts a smile on my face is Isaac M. He is so funny and always makes me laugh! From playing Mario Kart to dancing to high school musical songs, Isaac always finds a way to brighten my day and make it better.

CHM has been a huge part of my life. I have learned to see the beauty in the smallest things from the participants who are there every week. I always look forward to going every Tuesday night and spending my time there. There is no way I would rather spend my night.

What a joy & privilege to serve dinner to our participants! The facility is so beautiful & the staff so friendly & kind! A perfect place to meet & form friendships with fellow volunteers! Praise God for Compassionate Heart!

I volunteer at Compassionate heart because I love hanging out with the participants. I first met them at one of the events they do each year called Backwoods. Helping out with them was so much fun and they were so thankful! Because of that, I now volunteer at CH. They are always full of joy and love! They will come up to you right when you walk in and say hi. You might get a hug or a fist bump. Every day, you get to make new friends, and they remember you even if you go away for a while. Volunteering there is so much fun, and you make really great memories, and anyone who gets the opportunity to volunteer here should do it.
